This Patriotic Event will kick-off with a Run/Walk/Stroll on-site at The Wharf at 9 AM. Our Jeep & Motorcycle Beach Cruise will begin at 1 PM. A fellow 501c3 nonprofit organization - Friends of Army Aviation - will be on-site ALL DAY providing flights aboard their HU-1 “Huey” Vietnam Helicopter! We invite you to join us as a sponsor, vendor or community patron to show your appreciation to those who serve while supporting local military and veteran causes.

Salute to Service Sponsors

THE CAUSE - Operation ReConnect was founded in 2015 with one simplistic Mission:

“To provide the ‘GIFT OF TIME’ to the men, women and their families who have dealt with an overseas Combat Deployment.”

We execute our mission by providing Post 9/11 Combat Veterans and their families with a full 7-NIGHTS OF UNINTERRUPTED time together in a resort environment, typically located in Coastal Alabama or Northwest Florida.

Our 2nd Annual ‘Salute to Service’ event being held at The Wharf is designed with the purpose to CONNECT Americans that have served with Patriotic supporters and local resources.

This event is designed to be focused on benefiting Veterans and/or their families. Our definition of service extends beyond those who wear the uniform including the entire support system..

Operation ReConnect may be leading the charge, yet our focus is to make sure all Veteran Servicer Organizations have the opportunity to participate in this multi-community collaborative event.
